Location
Whanganui TOP 10 Holiday Park is located right on the banks of the mighty Whanganui River. This river city is located on the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand, about 200kms north of Wellington. The town is famed for having one of the most temperate climates in the world.
Attractions
Take a leisurely cruise aboard New Zealand’s last operating paddle steamer on the wonderful Whanganui River. The PS Waimarie (Maori for good fortune/peaceful waters) was built in 1899 and the engine room is open to view.
Activities
Take advantage of the mighty Whanganui River and go jetskiing, kayaking or jet boating. Visit one of the beautiful public gardens and parks in the area. Or view art, culture and heritage at the Sarjaent Gallery, one of the historic buildings in the town.
