Go Milford - Milford Sound Coach and Cruise

Go Milford coaches depart Te Anau at 8.30am making plenty of scenic viewing stops along the Milford road, for photo opportunities and short walks.  Take in the spectacular alpine scenery at such places as Mirror Lakes, Knobs Flat, Eglinton Valley, Pops View, Monkey Creek, Homer Tunnel and the Chasm.  On arrival at Milford Sound join the  "Discover More Cruise " with Southern Discoveries.

During the 3 hour excursions you will enjoy a BBQ lunch on board the Lady of the Sounds.  This boat gives you all the time and space to get up close and personal with this breathtaking region, as well you will receive a tour of the incredible "Discovery Centre" Underwater Observatory where you will go below the fiord to view unique marine life.  Back on the coach for your return to Te Anau and reflect on the incredible day that you have enjoyed.

The all inclusive price is for the Milford Sound Coach, Cruise with BBQ Lunch  and Underwater Observatory.   If you hold a TOP 10 Club membership you will receive a discount of $10 per adult and $5 per child when booking direct with us.

Doubtful Sound
Doubtful Sound is a massive wilderness area of rugged peaks, rainforest, hidden inlets all in the heart of the Fiordland National Park.  Known for its pristine beauty and wildlife, it is the home of the bottlenose dolphins & fur seals both of which are seen on most days.  In season you may also see the rare Fiordland cresta penguin.  This excursion also takes in Lake Manapouri and the Manapouri Underground Power Station.

Milford Sound
Milford Sound is a world-renowned natural wonder.  In Milford Sound the mountains stand so tall and climb straight out of the sea.  The rainforest clings to sheer rock walls and waterfalls tumble hundreds of metres to the waiting sea.  The road to Milford is just as spectacular and this amazing scenery is awaiting for you to come and explore.  Self Drive, Bus and Flight options are available.

Glow Worm Caves
Hidden beneath the mountains on Lake Te Anau's western shores is an underground network of caves lit by thousands of Glow Worms.  Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Te Anau and then explore the caves with your guide where you will learn about the history and life of a Glow Worm.

Float Plane Flights
Enjoy a unique experience of a take-off and landing on Lake Te Anau.  Flights are available to all corners of Fiordland National Park and can range from 10 minutes to 1 1/4 hours.  Come and view our region from the skies above.

Jetboating
Enjoy a 1 hour leisurely jetboating experience like no other that takes in the Upper Waiau River.  This river runs between Lake Manapouri and Lake Te Anau.  If you enjoyed The Lord of the Rings then this trip is for you.  The surrounding scenery is absolutely amazing.
