So suitable for families who want to involve their children in all the natural aspects this environment has to offer. Go exploring in the rock pools when the tide is out or walk to the Kauri Grove. Swim and play in your kayak or sail boat in the safe sheltered bay.The bellbirds will call you in the evening and again in the early morning hours. In the night you will hear the moreporks calling across the valley. For adults the area is renowned for fishing and kayaking.
