Waiwera Thermal Pools
Located just 6kms noth of Orewa Beach TOP 10 - thermal heated pools, indoor movie pool, water slides and spa.  Cafe on site along with picnic area's and playground.  Ask at reception for a discount voucher.

Snowplanet
New Zealand's only indoor Snow dome for skiing & Snowboarding. Enjoy a coffee in their cafe while watching the action on the slopes.

Tiritiri Matangi
Island bird sanctuary - off the end of the penisula.  The Island is home to a variety of native birds and fauna - including endangered species.  You can join a guided tour or just do your own thing.  Ferry departs from Gulf Harbour Marina at 9.30am and returns around 4pm.  Bookings essential.
Cost: $49 per adult, $24.50 per child
Auckland Bridge Climb

Getting There

Orewa is located in the Rodney District, 30 minutes drive north of Downtown Auckland and 1 hour from Auckland International Airport.

Orewa is part of the Hibiscus Coast, 12 minutes north of Auckland's North Shore, which extends from Silverdale to Waiwera - an area that is famous for it's beautiful beaches and bays, and is a gateway to the Hauraki Gulf - New Zealand's finest recreational marine area.

Auckland's Northern motorway (State Highway 1 heading north) extends all the way to Orewa, providing easy access to this magnificent area. Orewa Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is a short detour from the Highway through the vibrant Orewa Beach township.
