Location
We are located in the picturesque lakeside resort town of Taupo, in the central North Island of New Zealand. Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s largest lake, and its surrounding area offer fantastic outdoor activities in a stunning volcanic landscape.

Taupo is one of the most popular places to skydive in the world. With views of the majestic lakes and mountains – and a bit of adrenalin added in there too. A bit more sedate option is to take advantage of the abundance of trout in the area, try and land your own, as you can’t buy trout – but the restaurants will cook it for you.

Adventure based activities include Tongariro Alpine Crossing, jet boat rides, kayaking, rafting, bungy jumps, skydiving, horse trekking, skiing, bushwalking, and mountain biking. Lake Taupo has over 80kms of purpose cut mountain biking tracks.

For a thermal experience take the ride on the 'Thermal Safari' right up to Orakei Korako, the hidden valley thermal reserve.
Drop into our volcanic centres and find a mine of information to educate and excite you. The Wairakei Park has an academic facility which is visually exciting and interactive, informing you how this Volcanic Zone and beautiful landscape came to be. Experience earthquake tremors, geysers, volcanic eruptions, teutonic plates.
