Location
Kerikeri TOP 10 is in beautiful grounds just 500m south of the town centre, located in the Far North of Northland at the top of the North Island and close to the Bay of Islands.
Famous for its roadside stalls selling citrus fruit, macadamias and avocadoes, Kerikeri provides a wonderful taste of lush, semi-tropical New Zealand, as you head up towards the very northern most part of the country.
The town of Kerikeri was the site for one of the first church mission stations established by Europeans in New Zealand and is the location of the country’s oldest surviving building, Kemp House (built in 1821) and oldest stone building, the Stone Store, which still operates as today as a retail shop.

Kerikeri is a wonderful holiday location with many options for entertainment and activities, year round. If you are keen on the making the most of the climate and the stunning outdoors, you might enjoy river swimming, canoeing, taking a fishing charter, boating, surfing, sea kayaking or diving.
For something a little more cultural, you can explore historic Kerikeri, including the old Stone House and nearby Koropiro Pa – fortress and trading post of Ngapuhi chief Hongi Hika. You might also enjoy discovering local arts and crafts, doing a little wine tasting or truly relaxing in one of the day spas.
For the more unusual adventures, you can explore the towering kauri forests, take a helicopter flight, sky dive, or swim with dolphins.

Local highlights you can enjoy during your stay at Kerikeri TOP 10 include taking the walk to historic Kororipo Pa, former fortress of Hongi Hika, or gaining an insight to pre-European times by visiting Rewa’s Village.
Venture out on the sparkling Bay of Island waters with a Fuller’s Bay of Island Cruise, or visit Matauri Bay – a spectacular, sheltered bay with white sandy beach and home to the wreck of the Rainbow Warrior.
