Location
Fairlie TOP 10 is situated 2.5 hours drive from Christchurch and just under 4 hours from Queenstown in the South Island and is the Eastern gateway to the Mackenzie Country. It is a district of big vistas – big sky and big mountains frame the views through four distinct seasons.
Attractions
Fairlie heritage museum, Lake Opuha, ski fields, art galleries, Three Springs Historical Woolshed, 35 minutes drive from Lake Tekapo, and Aoraki/Mt Cook is a little over an hours drive away.
Activities
Fishing local lakes and rivers. In summer water sports can be enjoyed at Lake Opuha and in winter there are Mt Dobson and Fox Peak ski fields in close proximity.
