Location
We are located on the shores of Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) in the heart of Rotorua in the central North Island of New Zealand. Only 10 minutes drive from the centre of Rotorua, you have easy access to all of the geothermal and cultural wonders of Rotorua, plus the tranquil and scenic lake environment at your doorstep.
Rotorua is well known around the world for its cultural heritage and often spectacular geothermal activity – including geysers and bubbling mud pools. It has historically been one of the most popular places in New Zealand for tourists to visit and experience some of the indigenous Maori culture firsthand, from 120 years ago when travellers came from around the world to visit the Pink and White Terraces and bathe in the mineral rich waters.

From your cabin at the Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park you’ll have easy access to the Whakarewarewa Forest, which offers endless Mountain Biking trails. This is considered one of New Zealand's mountain biking meccas and draws mountain bikers from around the world to train and play among the Redwoods. A network of more than 70km of trails caters for all levels of riders, from beginners and family groups through to experts looking for extreme action.
Trails weave their way through lush native ferns beneath soaring forest canopies of Redwood, Radiata, Douglas Fir, Eucalyptus and Larch. Through the trees riders glimpse views of the lakes and Mt. Tarawera.
Lovers of water sports are also well catered for, with a short stroll to the waterfront and access to kayaking, trout fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming and boating in a safe and beautiful setting.
