The main wines grown in Marlborough are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. If you love wine, Marlborough is the place to visit. Tour The Vinyards on a Bike

Cycling has been described as the best way to explore the Marlborough wine region. Blenheim TOP 10 Holiday Park have a large fleet of quality bicycles for hire from reception, meaning you can leave straight from your accommodation, without any unnecessary travelling by car. Bikes are fully equipped with pannier bags, helmets and locks. Alternatively, there are a number of great tours available which include a coach tour of the local wineries. Take a full day to enjoy our beautiful area. A day in the sunniest province of New Zealand is just what you need.

Omaka Aviation Heritage Museum
The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre was established to provide a world-class destination for the appreciation of historic aircraft. The centre is located in Blenheim, near the Omaka Air Park. If you’ve always dreamed of flying, or have an interest in New Zealand heritage, Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is for you. Inspire interest in the whole family, with fun exhibitions and lots of full sized planes to admire. This is one of Marlborough’s TOP tourist attractions!

Brightstone Blues, Brews & BBQs
The Brightstone Blues, Brews & BBQs is a celebration of good brews, great food and amazing Blues and Rhythm and Blues music. The full-day event will next be held on 5 February 2011. Make your way around the 40 sites, trying a selection of over 70 beers and BBQ treats such as wild pork, local seafood and ostrich. Tickets go on sale mid December and tickets can be purchased from BNZ Blenheim and Picton, the Marlborough Centre and the i-SITE Visitor Centres at Blenheim and Picton. There are no gate sales.

Marlborough Wine Festival
Held in February each year, the Marlborough Wine Festival showcases Marlborough as New Zealand’s largest winegrowing region and the international home of Sauvignon Blanc. Take your pick from around 200 wines from over 40 local wineries. Accompany your wine with a selection of delicious local gourmet food, this is a day not to be missed!!  Tickets available from www.ticketdirect.co.nz

Havelock Mussel Festival
The next Havelock Mussel Festival will be held on 19 March 2011. The festival celebrates the NZ mussel industry and Havelock’s increasingly significant part in it. Bring the whole family to the mussel festival for a day of fine food, entertainment and education. Enter one of the fun competitions, explore the art and craft stalls or sit back and enjoy the popular local and national bands on offer then return to your accommodation at Blenheim TOP 10 Holiday Park.

Getting There

We are located on 78 Grove Road, Blenheim.

Travelling to Blenheim
Blenheim is in the South Island of New Zealand just 3 and a half hours north of Christchurch, and approximately 25 minutes from Picton, where the Interislander Ferry arrives from Wellington.

Getting Here
Blenheim is easily accessible by car, and is an amazing place to start your self-driven tour of the South Island. Bus services cover most routes from most centres, and Blenheim Airport, just 5 km from the city centre, offers regional flights daily. If you’re coming by car from the North Island, you’ll arrive in Picton on the Interislander Ferry from Wellington. From Picton, Blenheim is just a 25 minute drive.

From South ie Christchurch. On entering Blenheim continue straight then you turn right from the first roundabout on state Highway 1 which becomes Grove Road. After another 2 roundabouts, Blenheim TOP 10 is 600 metres ahead on the right.

From North ie Picton. Once you are on the Grove Bridge you should slow down as our park is on the left as you come off the bridge.

From West ie Nelson. Travel to Renwick township and keep going on Middle Renwick Road until you come to Grove Road in Blenheim town. Turn left on to Grove Road and our park is 600 meters up on the right.
