TOP 10 Holiday Parks offer you a wide range of year round accommodation options to suit your budget, ranging from fully equipped, self-catering motel units, right through to the ultimate New Zealand camping experience or backpacker style lodge accommodation.
When you are booking your New Zealand accommodation with TOP 10 Holiday Parks, keep in mind:
As an indicator, accommodation prices (per 2 adults) start from about NZ$40 a night for a tent site with shared cooking/washing facilities, through to around NZ$280 per night for a fully serviced, self contained, two bedroom motel unit. Some units sleep up to 6-8 people. Please view individual holiday park pages for more details on prices and making reservations.
- Accommodation prices also vary depending on whether you are travelling during Peak or Off-Peak time.
- If child rates are offered, our "child" prices apply for children aged 1 to 14 years inclusive.
- Some Parks offer the option of bringing your own bedding/towels, please ask about this when you book.
- Seasonal and weekend rates with a minimum stay period may apply, particularly at peak times or around major events.
- All our units and amenities are smoke free and pet free.

- All rates are in NZ dollars and include 15% gst (goods and services tax).
Park Motels
Our TOP 10 parks offer quality motel accommodation year round which is ideal if you want the convenience of preparing meals etc from your own unit. Units are fully self catering and may be serviced, with full kitchen facilities, shower and toilet. Room options may be studio, one or two bedrooms and a separate living/lounge area. Park Motel accommodation a has king or queen size bed, linen is provided, and units are usually more spacious, than some other options. They work well for families or couples spending several days in a location. Parking is normally provided close to your unit.
Self Contained Units
Ideal for families, Self Contained units have cooking facilities, TV, bathroom and toilet. These well equipped units are similar to the serviced motel units but are more compact than a Park Motel and could have a separate bedroom with two sets of bunks and a queen or double bed in living area.
Ensuite Units
Our Ensuite units have their own bathroom (with shower) and toilet; guests share the communal kitchen. These are ideal for a couple who don’t intend to cook during their stay, but want the convenience of breakfast making facilities and a queen sized double bed. Room configuration is normally a studio (bed in living room) or one bedroom plus living room.
Kitchen Cabins
Kitchen cabin units have their own cooking facilities. Guests use communal bathroom facilities (showers and toilets). This is a great low cost accommodation option for families with younger children. These cabins are usually one bedroom plus living or one studio room with a queen sized double bed and two sets of bunks, but please check exact configuration when you book with the Park you have chosen.
Standard Cabins
Standard cabins offer beds and bunks only and guests use communal bathroom facilities (showers and toilets) and the Park kitchen. This form of accommodation is most suitable for budget conscious travellers, groups and backpackers. Some cabins have queen size double beds and others have double beds with single bunk above (duobunk), or single bunks.
Lodge Accommodation
Perfect for groups, lodges provide shared bunk room style accommodation, with shared cooking, bathroom and lounge facilities usually in same building. This accommodation is great for mid to large size school groups, sports groups or clubs, backpackers, large adult families, event accommodation etc.
Group Accommodation
Groups of up to 100 can be accommodated in Self Contained Units or backpacker style Lodges (equipped with bunks and self contained facilities) at various Parks. We welcome group business, particularly if you are organising a sports trip for under-17 age group teams; family events; wedding accommodation etc. Many of the TOP 10 parks around the country have suitable facilities for accommodating young sports people including swimming pools, spa pools and some have gym facilities. Many also have conference facilities, with large meeting rooms suitable for groups wishing to gather before heading out for the day, or holding their whole event onsite.
Powered Camp Sites
If you are travelling New Zealand by Campervan or Motorhome, you can stay at any of the TOP 10 Holiday Parks by booking Powered Sites, which have power points for suitably wired vehicles. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities (showers and toilets) and communal kitchen facilities if required. Park management can provide advice on where to refill gas bottles and other useful information for your trip. You can also book powered sites for your tent if you intend to run electrical appliances during your holiday.
Non-powered Camp Sites
These are traditional camping sites without power for tents or vans. Enjoy the classic "back to nature" New Zealand campground experience – bring your tent and camping equipment and share the toilet/shower facilities and the communal kitchen. TOP 10 Holiday Park communal kitchens are clean, modern facilities that all meet our quality standards, plus you have access to all the other entertainment and recreational facilities in each park.
